Welcome to the 98th Annual Boise Music Week!

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO ORDER AND PRINT YOUR DEALSAVER CERTIFICATES THAT WILL BE YOUR GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS.


YOUR PRINTED DEALSAVER CERTIFICATES WILL SERVE AS YOUR TICKETS FOR ADMISSION AND WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU FOLLOWING YOUR RESERVATION ON THIS SITE.

Again this year, Boise Music Week tickets are reserved exclusively through dealsaver.com. Please follow these instructions to reserve tickets for Showcase 2016, International Dance Night and All That's Jazz. You will then print your dealsaver certificates that will serve as your tickets redeemable for admission at Timberline High School or the Velma V. Morrison Center. See below for a complete description of each event.

1) Select your performance of choice by clicking the "see options" box to the right. Then, click to put a check next to the performance(s) that you wish to attend. Click "add to cart."

2) On the next screen, change the quantity by entering a number corresponding to the number of tickets that you would like to reserve for each performance.

3) Click "continue shopping" if you would like to purchase additional dealsavers, including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (also free but requires reserved tickets). Or, click "proceed to checkout" if you are ready to get your tickets.

4) After all of your desired tickets and other items are in your cart and you have clicked "proceed to checkout," you may complete the checkout process by one of these methods:

• Click "sign in" if you have previously made a purchase with dealsaver or if you have already registered to the site. You will then be prompted to enter your email address and password to log in. Complete all additional required information and then click "complete order."

• Complete all of the required information to set up a free dealsaver account and then click "complete order." Your information will be saved for future dealsaver purchases.

• Click "guest checkout" if you do not wish to set up a free dealsaver account. Your information will not be saved for future dealsaver purchases. Then, complete all additional required information and click "complete order."

5) After completing your order, you will be directed to an order confirmation page. There, you may click "order details" to view and print each dealsaver certificate. If your order status is still shown as "processing," you may refresh your browser or just wait to receive your dealsaver certificates via email. Shortly after completing your order, you will be sent an order confirmation email with your dealsaver certificates attached. You may then print each dealsaver certificate that will serve as each ticket for admission. Check your email account's spam, promotions or junk mail folders if you do not find your order confirmation email in your inbox.

Treasure Valley Concert Band, Marcellus Brown, Conductor

This fine band begins its 34th season. They are comprised of musicians from all walks of life, who enjoy playing fine wind instrument literature. Conductor Marcellus Brown came to Boise State University in 1989 and has been directing this group for over 20 years. He is an outstanding conductor and has been recognized for his work and dedication not only at Boise State, but is asked to conduct many groups both here and abroad.

Kings of Swing Big Band, Dr.Tom Phelps, Conductor

The Kings of Swing was formed in 1974 by Gib Hochstrasser with the best musicians in the Treasure Valley. The Kings of Swing have played at every major event in the state and appeared as far away as Las Vegas, Denver, and Portland. The Kings of Swing big band is led by Dr. Tom Phelps, who has played lead alto sax and clarinet with the band for many years. In addition to leading the Kings of Swing, Tom has directed the orchestra for many of Boise Music Week productions.


INTERNATIONAL DANCE NIGHT

Dance is Music in Motion! “Dance, Dance, Wherever You May Be.” As a Boise Music Week tradition, we are excited to have a thrilling selection of performers donate their time and talent for your enjoyment. This year’s program features a diverse mix of cultural groups. We are pleased to have Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, Boise Bellydance Company, Boise Chinese Traditional Dance Group, Boise Highlanders Dancers, Danza Azteca Tonatiuh, Gem Cloggers, IDT- Idaho's Dance Theatre, Irish Dance Idaho, JSAT, Kawa Taiko - a Japanese-American drum ensemble, Killarney Irish Dance Co., Mazana of Cairo Fusion, Off Center Dance, Oinkari Basque Dancers, and Shireen Bahadur, perform in this year’s show!

Singin’ and swingin’ sums up Boise Music Week's ALL THAT S JAZZ! 2016. The show opens with the talented Boise State Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by Quinn Van Paepeghem. Also featured is Idaho’s own 25th Army Jazz Band under the direction of Master Sergeant Michael Simon. And finally, we are pleased to present the West Side Redux. We are honored to have Jim Duthie of Channel 7's News team returning as our MC and extend our gratitude to the Morrison Center Endowment Foundation. Prepare to be thoroughly entertained!

Each dealsaver serves as 1 ticket valid for 1 admission to your selected performance.
There are no substitutions. Each dealsaver is only valid for the specific performace that was reserved.
There is a limited quantity of tickets available for each performance that will be distributed on a first-come basis.
Ticket holders are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the performance. Open seating will commence 10 minutes prior to curtain.
No cash value.
